At the BMoved Foundation, we offer free programs to help underserved and under-resourced communities in the greater Los Angeles area. A Man with a Mission

The BMoved Foundation was founded by the late Cedric Jones (09.14.1977 - 10.16.2023; Beastie Boxing Gym, Manhattan Beach, CA) to aid in the cultivation of the next generation of responsible leaders. The BMoved Foundation provides numerous youth outreach services to the youth of the greater Los Angeles area, including mentorship programs, educational enrichment, mental wellness support, life transformation skills, as well as ​local service initiatives. Please join us by honoring his vision and supporting our efforts to make a measurable difference in their lives. It’s time to make real change.

What We Do

​In Los Angeles...

  • 70% of local children don’t have after school activities

  • 20% of local children are left unsupervised in the afternoons and evenings

  • Only 76% of children in Los Angeles complete high school

  • 47,375 children are left alone and unsupervised after school

  • Unsupervised children perform worse in school, have lower self confidence, less ambition and stunted emotional development

  • 40% of all college athletes receiving scholarship money, transfer, leave their school or do not graduate

The BMoved Foundation takes action against these struggles

The BMoved Foundation offers the following free programs:

  • After school athletic programs

  • 1:1 mentorship

  • Financial literacy classes

  • School supplies

  • Academic Resources & Tutoring

  • College Prep

  • Scholarships

The Result?

Since its foundation, the BMoved Foundation has provided assistance for over 42 local youths (and counting).

​

Our current 42 members span across a wide age range, including

  • 5 in grade school

  • 7 in middle school

  • 9 in high school

  • 16 in college

  • 5 college graduates

​

BMoved Foundation enrollee statistics:

  • 93% graduated from high school

  • 100% of high school graduates entered college or trade school

  • 100% graduation rate from college or trade school
